Héctor Faya is a lawyer with a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies and Government from Georgetown University. With over two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, he has led transformative public policy strategies across Latin America, working with global companies, governments, and organizations to succeed in complex political and social environments.

As Director of Public Policy for Meta in Latin America, Héctor spearheaded high-impact initiatives that improved the lives of millions of people in more than 25 countries, promoting social progress through technology and innovation. At Edelman Mexico, as Vice President of Public Affairs, he took strategic consulting to the next level by designing sophisticated public policy strategies that transformed outcomes for major national and international industries. In the public sector, he served as Chief of Staff to Mexico’s Secretary of Education, where he led reforms that modernized and strengthened the country’s educational system.

With a career spanning Washington D.C., Mexico City, and São Paulo, Héctor has developed innovative and sustainable solutions that deliver lasting impact.
